Hendry has extensive experience creating site-specific artworks for residential and corporate settings. Creating considered artworks for the particular setting and in dialogue with home owner or client, is a skill that the artist has refined over 20 years of commissions.

Working in close consultation with clients, Hendry develops preparatory drawings to respond sensitively to the architectural space and landscape, before transposing the ideas into wire relief sculptures.
